What is NW United in Prayer?
NW United in Prayer is a grassroots movement to highlight prayer AND unity in the NW churches. All our area churches encourage and practice prayer, but when have we done this as an entire region united under one weekly theme?
Imagine the impact as hearts are strengthened, faith is deepened, and churches are united in seeking God's will. Each congregation can individually tailor this series to fit its own needs while doing the prayer month alongside the NW churches: "Individually Together"! How incredible will it be to announce from your pulpit that churches from Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming are talking about the same prayer theme on the same week? And the caveat is, you only do at your church what fits your church! Each church will do this a little bit differently, and that is encouraged!
Provided are children's curriculum, youth lessons, sermon ideas, and additional resources. Look through the website to see what you can use for your church family. All resources are downloadable for use.
Remember- "Individually Together" is the ticket! Please spread the word to anyone you know in the NW Churches of Christ!!

Children's Prayer Day Event
How about a kids' prayer event at your church?? Sound Fun?
For approximately 4 hours (ex: 9:00-1:00 or 1:00-5:00) kids can come together with adult teachers and learn about prayer on a deeper level. Kids learn by play, so "play" is incorporated into the day all while talking about the very same Bible stories that we all are learning about and discussing during October. Do a kids' event to kick off the prayer month or wrap it all up at the end of the month- it's all up to you! The Kids' Day Plan is full of ideas for a day of learning, practice and fun. Also included here are flyers to announce the event.

1. Tri-fold prayer ideas for each week
Tri-Fold papers are for each child to actively participate in this month's activities. This contains reading, family discussions, suggestions for family activities and the memory verse to do together. This is designed for each child, but it includes the parents and family. Go big and get grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins involved!!
